I have fallen in love with Georgia Richardson. She is a self-proclaimed "baby boomer diva" as well as a writer, speaker and comedian. She lives to make people smile and simply enjoy life. Her website (http://www.queenjawjaw.com) is full of great wonderful little tidbits of uplifting information. In her new article "Staying in the Moment" she makes a startling discovery, "even though "staying in the moment" makes perfect sense, I've found myself borrowing trouble for what could happen, while in reality, right now is what counts".
It made me remember how important "today" is. I often get caught up in the meetings, the conventions and etc. It is so easy to just focus on what's coming or what tasks I have to complete. I lose sight of just living and as boomers we need to take a step back, take a deep breath and enjoy everything that we have. I really don't have much else to say, but take today or tomorrow to just be thankful for what all you have...oh, and to share it with someone you love!
